What a ride part deux!!!!!!

Here we are with part 2 of a wonderful week. We have been planning on going to Bangor, Maine for about 3 months now and we planned it for last week so after all the excitement of our big win we had to get ready for our trip. Mary's sister and her husband also were on our shopping trip, we both took our cars and stayed at the same motel. We had a great time and even brought some money back with us but still managed to spend a lot. The prices up there on some things are real good and on other things not so great but the best part is if you buy cloths you will not meet yourself coming down the street. I must be a true islander because the best deal I saw was at Kentucky Fried Chicken which was a noon buffet for $4.99 which was about 4 kinds of chicken, salads, potatoes, buttermilk biscuits and a lot of other items. Where the islander in me shows up is that it was all you could eat.
Cloths may be a little cheaper but where the big diff to me is electronics and being a man that is what is most important in life. The LCD flat TV's are enough to make a grown man cry and the prices would finish the job. I bought a 128 MG memory stick for my camera for $34.00. I priced the same one today at the wally for $85.00, with a .80cent dollar I got it for 1/2 price. I saw fresh chickens for .69cents a pound, turkeys for .99cents, milk was $1.99 for 2 quarts. Lots of good prices if you want to look and just really good to check out some diff stores for a change. I had a real good time and am planning my next trip already.
On top of all this excitement we celebrated our 40'th wedding anniversary on Sunday the 10'th. This time it was me that went to the washroom and cried if you can believe that. Didn't do a damn thing to celebrate as before you know it we will be having our 50'th.
As you can see it has been quite a week and will be a while before I have another one like it.
In closing I just like to wish all of you the kind of week that I have just had and hope that you all cash big lotto tickets.
Till next time, take care.
P.S. How could I ever forget to mention the excelsior of life, that fine golden beverage that should be served ice cold "BEER". I priced it at a grocery store and you could get 30 cans of any popular American beer, miller caught my eye as it is my favorite for $15.99. God for a few minutes I was sure I had died and made it to heaven.
