These are the musings of a retired male. Some may be interesting, some may be boring, but all will be true. It will contain info om PEI and some links I find interesting. Pull up a chair and enjoy.

Lost in Cyberspace!!!!!

Well Sunday night when I returned home from the BBQ in Ch'town for the members of a board I belong to I made up an entry for my blog and tried to enter it. I didn't do anything different but somehow where it went I have no idea, lost in cyberspace you might say. Maybe someone has an entry in their blog and don't know where it came from, well it is mine. It could have been worse I suppose and it gives me something to write about.
Now on to the BBQ, it was held in Ch'town at the Queen Charlotte Naval Station. Wonderful location with a million $ view of the harbor. There were 15 members and guests present and it was good to see them again plus we had 4 or 5 who were new to out meets. I quess I should tell you the board I am talking about is: http://www.peiinfo.ca and if you have never visited us now would be a good time. The board is open to anyone who would like to join but is mostly PE Islanders. We are planning another Meet in September and if you like join now and attend our little get together. We have members from all over and as far away as California so don't be shy, join and get involved in our discussions.
Now to much more to say today just Old Home Week is in full swing in Ch'town this week. If you like fairs or harness racing this is as good as it gets here on PEI. I worked at a racetrack a bunch of years ago selling paramutial tickets and even than I didn't enjoy racing so I guess I will not be going again this year.
Story time.
The wife looked her husband in the eye and asked:
"will you still love me dear when my hair has turned to silver?"
To which the husband replied.
"I don't see why not. I have already loved you through 5 or 6 different colors."

Champ, "lost" postings usually happen when you take a long time to type your entry and you "time out". The best way to handle long entries (if you suspect in advance that it will take you awhile) is to create your entry off-line (in Word or Wordperfect or some other text editor), then copy/paste into your blog entry box.
