ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL DAY IN GOD'S COUNTRY.

Well what a beautifukl day we are enjoying here on P.E.I. The sun is shining in all its glory, the wind is near non existent, and it is just a great day to be alive. Talk about God's country I believe if he does not live on PEI and you wanted to phone him than it would not be a long distance call. If this is not his home it is for certain his neighborhood. Nothing like a beautiful day to get you ready to accept winter because the sooner it starts the sooner it is over, not that winters are that bad as I enjoy each season all for different reasons. Stop and think for a while on how boring it must be to never see the seasons change over the year. No renewell and rebirth of all living things in the spring. The hot lazy days of summer with their trips to the beach and backyard BBQ's, and family picnics. The harvest of the farmers crops in the autumn, the animals storing food for the long winter approaching, and the beautiful display of multi colored leaves. Now winter which hard to believe is probally our most active season on PEI. You have community schools, card parties, hockey games, skiing and too many more activities to even list. Guess you could just call us lucky to be born in such a beautiful place and super residents.
For those of you who are worried about the winter that is due to arrive on Dec 21 remember that is also the shortest day of sunlight and the days are getting longer starting the very next day. I always figure that it always get better after we get that day over with.
Sorry for all the rambling today but it is just the way I feel and no matter what is happening now you can be sure that it will change, me I always figure that the change is always for the better. If not than it is never as bad as it could be and another change is just ahead.
The entries for my contest are rolling in so if you have not sent in your answer yet move your butt and do it now.
Todays UFI is:
(1) Eating raw onions is a good way to unplug a pluged nose.
(2) There are more caribou in Alaska than people.
(3) Elvis Presleys favorite food was a fried peanut butter and banana sandwich.
Till next time, Take Care.
