These are the musings of a retired male. Some may be interesting, some may be boring, but all will be true. It will contain info om PEI and some links I find interesting. Pull up a chair and enjoy.

I must say I'm sorry.

I must start by saying I am sorry for no entries for over a week, not that I have been ant busier lately but just didn't feel like it. Most of the time I can't wait to do my posting but have hit a little depression, I usually get this way every time the seasons change.
Went back to the flee market in St. Eleanors last Sunday and bought 3 more reader digest music collections and could have got more but sometimes your mate doesn't understand just how great a bargain they really are. All sets contain 4 CD's never opened each containing over 80 songs all by different singers. I got (1) Million Dollar Memories of the 50's & 60's. (2) 30 years of Great Folk Hits. (3) Gods Country which is gospel country songs by country usic singers. I really love listening to music and am enjoying "Venus" by "Frankie Avalon", brings back a lot of memories as this is the music of my youth.
Well summer is over for another year and was it ever short this year, never really warmed up here until mid July. School has restarted and most of our summer visitors have left us for another year, is that a cheer I hear off in the distance. Don't get me wrong as I like most tourists but there are a few we could do without but I will not get into that discussion here. Now the fall weather starts and is my favorite time of the year, still nice, a bit cool, but not humid, hopefully this will last into November.
Tried to have a car wash for the PEI Special Olympics on Saturday last and it turned cool and rained in the morning so I had to call it off. This is volunteers we are talking about here and I couldn't really see getting them wet and freezing them, but that didn't stop some people from wondering why we cancelled. By the way these were not helpers I might add. S'side will now have to wait until next year to get me to wash their car.
Story time:
Patient: What's wrong, Doc? You look frustrated.
Doctor: I can't figure out what your problem is. I think it may have to do with heavy drinking.
Patient: OK, I'll just come back when you are sober.
