I NEED HELP IN NOVA SCOTIA.

Today I need help from any Nova Scotia blogger who might happen to be reading this as I am trying to track down some friends from an earlier life.
For 3 years I was a Maritime union rep and for 6 more I was a Maritime vice-president of a national Postal union. The union is CPAA which stands for "Canadian Postmasters & Assistants Association which represents all workers in the smaller rural post offices. Not the Halifaxes or the Sydneys but the Windsors, Barringtons, Musquodoboits, & Elmsdales, I hope you understand what I mean.
My problem is I am trying to track down a few employees from some of these offices who I have lost contact with over the years as it is now 14 years since I last filled the job as V/P.
Due to the nature of blogs I do not want to post the names here so if anyone from Nova Scotia reads this PLEASE leave a comment below as to how I can get in touch with you and hopefully when I find out where you live I will give you an E-MAIL address you can drop off at the PO so they can get in touch with me.
If you are wondering why I don't go through Canada Post it is because sometimes when you are fighting for what is fair for employees you can make a few enemies in management who have long memories
So if you are from any part of Nova Scotia please contact me as this is very important to me.

DRUM ROLL PLEASE.

The big monent has finally arrived and I have composed myself enough to announce the results of my first (but not last) quiz. It has beeb a lot of fun and I received more entries than I expected but as I said one of the questions was quite difficult with the result all entries got 2 right therefore a tie. I have drawn 1 name and will announce the winner after I give the answers to all 3 Questions.
(1) What was the purpose of his voyages? He was looking for a shortcut to China
(2) Where did he leave from? He left from St Milo in France.
(3) who was his navigator? His name was Campion. This is the french spelling of my family name and due to our family history was a relative.
I had a lot of fun with this and can't wait to have my next one. The next one will be on sports and will give a few days notice before it starts.

THE MARRIAGE THAT BROKE MY HEART!!!!

Well today I must make a confession and come out of my shell and announce to the world why I have been such an asshole the last little while.
One morning while watching CNN and eating my cerial, at my age must get my fiber, I heard a story that just broke my heart and tore my world apart.
The announcers were discussing Brittany Spears wedding to Justin Timberlake and wondering if this one would last any longer than her first one to her old school chum.
I have been secertly in love with this girs since the first time I saw her perfect belly button, I know I am old enough to be her grandpa but true love knows no age. I have been trying to figure what Justin has that I don't have and all I can think is that she has never met me but if she ever did I would be in his place and we would be ever happy forever.
I considered writting her to explain my love for her and try to explain what a mistake she has made but my love for her will not let me as I don't want to hurt her.
I guess what I will have to do is suffer in peace and pray every night that she is happy, but than again if her marriage to Justin goes down the tube I must be ready to make my move.
That is all I can write for now as it breaks my heart and really hurts just to think about it, I thought that to tell the world how I really felt would be good but sad to say that is not the case.
I must say to the people who entered my contest that I had planned to name the winner here but I feel so bad I am going to have a good cry and get it over with, hopefully I will feel better later and make my long awaited announcement.

LAST DAY.

Today is the last chance to enter the contest on my blog site, tomorrow I will be announcing the winner. Does anyone know how to add a drum roll so I will have a bit of suspense when I make this important announcement. Well so much for that idea.
Today is a cloudy monday with a little rain but it is still mild for PEI for this time of the year.
It rained heavy last night so we did not get near as many kids as we usually do so I will be eating potato chips for the next few days but since potato chips are my favorite vegatable I am not going to complain. Too bad I have diabetes as I could make a nice hole in the chocolate bars too. We probally had 60 to 70 kids last night where on a nice evening we would normally go over 150.
Next year I am going to take pics of every person who comes to the door and post them. I think I will do this every year from now on just to see the different costumes every year. The joys of having a digital camera, once you pay for it and the card your costs are minimal.
